They'll study in different classrooms, sleep in separate dormitories and even eat apart. They meet the strict teachers and are given their uniforms. SPEAKING: DISCUSSION

In the speaking exam you may have to discuss a topic with your partner and give your opinion about it. In the following link by the British Council you will find useful tips to do it.

Speaking Exam: Discussion

PLAIN JANE

Now we're dealing with the topic of fashion. Wether you like it or not, you have to learn the vocabulary and one easy way to do it is by going shopping (or just window shopping) and by watching TV programmes like Plain Jane on MTV. It's a light-hearted programme in which a British fashion expert called Louise Roe transforms an ordinary looking girl - a Plain Jane - from inside and out by building up her confidence and with a head-to-toe make over. At the end of the programme she reveals her feelings to her secret crush on a romantic date. She might succeed or not, but that doesn't really matter after all.

Watch an interview with Louise, the host of the programme, in which she talks about her job, her new projects, and gives tips to women about how to look a million dollars.

Now watch the trailer of the first episode of 'Plain Jane'. You can watch the full episodes on youtube or MTV. You might think it's silly, but it's a great way to practice your listening and learn new words!
